Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

  • With less than 6 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
  • With less than 255 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Whilst enjoying a degree of seclusion and privacy within this leafy pocket of Hillside, the property is superbly positioned within a short stroll from the shops and amenities of Leith

Walk and Broughton Street, where coffee houses, restaurants and delicatessens can be found. The property is also close to Easter road which includes a very useful Scotmid supermarket, chemist, Post Office, bakeries, and ATMs. Nearby Calton Hill also has one of the most photographed views of Edinburgh’s cityscape.

The flat has been completely renovated and redecorated recently & before putting on Airbnb. Internally this accommodation is in excellent decorative order, while briefly comprising; entrance hallway, a bright and spacious lounge/diner with a storage cupboard. There is a fully fitted, partially tiled kitchen, which benefits from an integrated ceramic four-ring hob/oven and extractor hood, a spacious double bedroom, a single room which provides sleeping space for two guests (using solid pine extra strength bunk bed) and a three-piece, partially tiled bathroom with an overhead shower and chrome heated towel rail. In total, the two good-sized bedrooms and living room can accommodate 6 guests comfortably.
This property also benefits from gas central heating, full double glazing and high ceilings throughout, secure door entry system, and more than adequate on-street paid parking to accommodate visitors.

The property enjoys outstanding close proximity to all that the inspiring capital has to offer. Award-winning restaurants, trendy bistros, independent retailers, art galleries, theatres, traditional pubs and designer outlets, including Harvey Nichols, are all on your doorstep.
The property is situated a short walk from the major transport hubs of Waverley Train Station and the tram terminus at York Place, which provides quick and convenient travel to Edinburgh Airport and the bus station at St Andrew’s Square. Nearby is the Omni Centre, which houses a fabulous cinema complex, bars, restaurants and gym and the famous Playhouse Theatre. Slightly further afield are Leith Shore, The New Town, Stockbridge and Princes Street.
Within the city centre, only naturally, is everything that a modern metropolis can offer in terms of facilities, commercial and financial services, amenities and communications. The city’s best shopping facilities are available on Princes Street. George Street provides banking, building societies and other financial services. There are a number of post offices from which to choose.
The West End is of course, where Edinburgh’s entertainment facilities tend to be very highly concentrated. Here there is the Usher Hall, the Lyceum Theatre, all manner of restaurants and bars, indoor sports facilities, and Health Clubs. For the energetic, none of these facilities is more than a comfortable walk away.
For those who prefer open-air recreational facilities, Holyrood Park and Princes Street Gardens are virtually on the doorstep. It is only a short trip to the Botanic Gardens and Inverleith Park, whilst from Warriston, the routes of old railway lines radiate out in a variety of directions providing interesting new perspectives on otherwise familiar parts of the city.

There are around 5-7 buses going to city center from the bus stop.

The national express bus arrive close to Omni centre which is only 10 min walk away from the flat.

There is a tram from Edinburgh airport that goes directly to city centre, then you can use bus to get to the flat.
